Tom Galia, President

Tom is President and co-founder of Turnstone .  His career in Information Technology spans over 20 years and he has been working in the academic healthcare setting for roughly 15 years.  Tom founded Turnstone with the belief that effective use of information technology and in particular business intelligence, provides healthcare organizations enormous opportunities to improve patient care, increase productivity and cut costs.  Tom lives with his family in the Philadelphia area and is a graduate of the University of Delaware.  He received his Executive MBA from Drexel University.

Megan Dwyer, BSN, CRNP, Chief Nursing Officer

Megan Dwyer is Chief Nursing Officer and co-founder of Turnstone Healthcare.   Megan's Nursing career spans over 15 years.  She received both her BSN and MSN from Villanova University.  She has worked at Hershey Medical Center and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  She also spent several years as a Clinical Nurse Instructor.  Megan brings a clinical perspective and patient centered focus to Turnstone .

Joe Sullivan, PE

Joseph Sullivan, PE is an Associate Vice President for a national consulting engineering firm whose primary focus is transportation engineering. He has a BS in Civil Engineering and an MBA with a concentration in finance; both from Temple University in Philadelphia. Joe manages large capital transportation improvement projects throughout the Northeast region.  His management and engineering career span 22 years, with the last 16 in consulting engineering.  Joe brings a client satisfaction perspective to Turnstone through on-time project delivery and quality control.
  
 

Suzanne Beck, MD

Suzanne Beck, MD graduated from Temple University School of Medicine, trained at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital and returned to her native area to practice medicine at a world renowned tertiary care children’s hospital in Philadelphia. Her clinical expertise is in caring for children with lung disease and sleep apnea. She directs a large sleep laboratory, focusing on state of the art diagnostics and performance quality. She holds a faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching students and young physicians at all levels of training. Sue adds a welcomed, first-hand perspective to Turnstone as a health care professional and a director of a busy clinical operation.
 

Richard White, MSc

Richard a Senior Clinical Database Administrator and Software Developer for the Hospital of the University of the University of Pennsylvania, responsible for the NaviCare Patient Flow System® for all PennMedicine entities. Richard was a member of the original NaviCare Inc. startup team where he developed and directed the Implementation and Support Services branch until the sale of NaviCare to Hill-Rom Co. Subsequent to that, he was the NaviCare Reporting Business Analyst and Designer for Hill-Rom’s Workflow IT Division. Richard’s career in Healthcare began 17 years ago at Fairview Health Systems, MN, where he was the Surgery Business Manager at their flagship hospital at the University of Minnesota. Richard received his MSc from the University of York, UK, in Project Analysis, Finance and Investment. His thesis was condensed and published in the British Journal of Defence and Peace Economics. Following that he was selected to be a Research Fellow at the University’s Centre for Defence Economics.
